1995
Launch of the Aerox Injector
The Aerox Injector was developed and designed in collaboration with universities, research centers, and Cargill.
1999
First customers outside the Benelux
In 1999, a unit was installed at Rothkötter, one of our first customers. This unit is still in operation today, along with the nine other injectors that Rothkötter has ordered since then.
2001
Name Change
In 2001, the name was changed from Aerob to Aerox.
2005
Introduction to XG Technology
In 2005, Aerox introduced its XG-Injector technology, a major improvement in the NTP injector market. The first Aerox XG-Injector was sold in 2006.
2007
Move to New Headquarters
In 2007, Aerox moved to its new headquarters in Vleuten, the Netherlands, which included a large production facility and office space.
2008
Expansion into Asia
In 2008, Aerox sold its first XG-Injector in Japan. Large orders followed in China.
2014
First Sales in China
Working closely with Chinese representatives, Aerox delivered more than 30 systems for tobacco, oilseeds, and fish feed in China between 2010 and 2015.
2014
Change in Ownership
In 2014, Aerox, a subsidiary of the industrial Verder Group, became part of Pindustry (also a subsidiary of the Verder Group). Under this new ownership, Aerox gained a more focused direction
2021
Expansion into North America
After undertaking a few small projects in Canada and the U.S. in the past, Aerox expanded its operations to North America in 2021, delivering more than 15 systems for two major animal feed projects in the U.S. and a tobacco project in Canada. This was done in full compliance with UL standards (U.S.) and CSA standards (Canada).

Truly global presence
Aerox has supplied its odor control systems to the last “Aerox-free continent,” thereby achieving a truly global presence. In addition to the obvious countries, we also operate in Mexico, Uganda, Slovakia, Nigeria, Norway, Malaysia, Argentina, Serbia, Colombia, and Chile. This milestone was made possible thanks to our local representatives.
2021
Launch of the First ATEX-Certified Aerox Injector
The Aerox Injector units, which are already safe and reliable, have been modified and certified for use in ATEX Zone 1 areas. This process was successfully completed in close collaboration with an independent notified body. To date, several ATEX Zone 1-certified units have been installed in the oilseed industry in multiple countries.
2025
30 Years of Aerox Odor Control Technology
In 2025, Aerox celebrated the 30th anniversary of its unique cold plasma injection technology, invented by Aerox in 1995. Over the past 5 years in particular, Aerox R&D has improved and innovated the technology and products, resulting in even more reliable, high-performance systems that require maintenance only once every 10,000 operating hours and consume less energy.
