The Aerox-Injector
The Aerox Injector is a compact system that neutralizes odours from production processes. The cold plasma injection technology was invented and further developed by Aerox to effectively eliminate industrial odors without the use of water, gas, or chemicals.
Developed by experts
The Aerox cold plasma injection technology was developed in collaboration with universities, odour measurement agencies, and users. Prototypes of the current Aerox-Injector were first tested 30 years ago by customers, directly in an industrial environment. Since then, the technology has been continuously optimized, with internal R&D tests always followed by endurance tests at customers. Only after a year of practical proof of flawless, trouble-free operation are intended improvements and innovations implemented. For 30 years, users have found the absence of chemicals, water, compressed air, or gas, and the absence of wastewater, a major advantage.
The Aerox-Injector system consists of a filter cabinet, an injection fan, a smart heater, an injector cabinet with electronics and plasma cells, an adapter with injection tubes that are integrated into the customer’s piping system, and a control cabinet.
The plasma capacity can be adjusted continuously and remotely to the current situation. For example, if a production batch is being run that is expected to produce a high odour, the odour reduction unit can be set to maximum capacity. This can, of course, be configured automatically via the customer’s central (SKADA) control system. The modem integrated into the control cabinet allows the customer and Aerox service to remotely read the relevant parameters on a dashboard.
Because the injection air is always at a higher pressure than the process air, it is impossible for process air to contaminate the plasma system, making the Aerox-Injector a consistently clean, reliable, and safe system. By using dust-free and conditioned injection air, the plasma process is extremely efficient, resulting in minimal electricity consumption…and maximal odour reduction per kWh.

Technical details
Want to know exactly what makes the Aerox-Injector unique? Here you will find the technical specifications, installation requirements and certifications of our odour control system. Practical, powerful, designed for long-term use in the most diverse industries.
Specs
All technical specifications in one overview. See if the Aerox-Injector fits your production environment.
The Aerox-Injector is compact, powerful, and designed for continuous use in harsh industrial environments. Its modular design makes it easy to adapt to varying air volumes and production conditions.
Each unit treats up to 250,000 m³/h of process air and requires minimal space and energy. The injector operates independently, without disrupting your existing system, and requires minimal maintenance.

Installation requirements
For safe and effective operation, we always tailor the installation of the Aerox Injector to your process.
An Aerox-Injector is always tailored to your specific installation and odour source. That’s why we begin every project with a thorough on-site assessment. We analyze the process air, assess the exhaust airflow, and investigate which connection points are technically feasible.
Thanks to its compact design and injection principle, the system takes up minimal space and can often be integrated without any modifications to the production process. In most cases, the factory continues to operate during installation.

Certification
The Aerox Injector meets all major safety and quality standards (ATEX, IECEx, UL/CSA, CE) and can therefore be used in factories all over the world.
ATEX
To ensure safe operation in potentially explosive atmospheres, the Aerox-Injector complies with the European ATEX (Atmosphere Explosive) guidelines. This certification is mandatory when the system is used in zones containing flammable gases or vapors.
IECEx
Outside Europe, the IECEx standard often applies, which is very similar to ATEX. The main difference lies in the implementation method used by each country. While ATEX is applied uniformly across the EU, IECEx procedures vary by region.
UL & CSA
For deliveries to the United States, we manufacture according to the UL (Underwriters Laboratories) standard. For Canada, we follow the CSA (Canadian Standards Association) standard. Both certifications guarantee (fire) safety for people, animals, and the environment.
CE
All Aerox systems carry a CE mark. This means our systems comply with all EU requirements for safety, health, and environmental protection.
