The Aerox injector in Aarhus is guided by a wind direction device to save energy.

Aarhus Karlhamn (AAK) is a seed oil processing plant located in a port city in Denmark. As of 2006, one Aerox injector is enough to treat all the process air coming from the coolers of the rapeseed production line.

Satisfied local residents

Initially, AAK built an 80-meter-high chimney. This measure proved not enough to stop all complaints about seed oil odors. To satisfy local residents, AAK installed an Aerox injector outside the plant against the chimney. Using the Aerox injector, the desired odor reduction was achieved.

Energy-saving wind direction device

This Aerox injector is controlled by a digital device based on wind direction. This means that, when the wind blows from the plant out to sea, none of the local residents can smell the seed oil odor. The machine can then be turned off or at a lower capacity. This saves costs and energy. AAK informed us that all their expectations were met and that contact with our service team was always very positive.
