What do we offer you?
In this position, you’ll have a versatile role that offers plenty of variety and responsibility. You’ll be involved in all aspects of project coordination, from placing orders to maintaining close contact with customers and suppliers. Although the projects are often repetitive in nature, each customer requires customized solutions, and you’ll have plenty of opportunity to initiate improvement projects. You’ll work in a small, close-knit team of three project engineers and two assembly workers, and together you’ll form a vital link within the friendly Aerox team. You’ll report directly to the Operations Manager and work closely with colleagues in Sales, Office Support, and Service, allowing you to switch between different disciplines on a daily basis and contribute fully to Aerox’s success.
We offer a competitive salary of up to €4,000 gross per month (based on a 40-hour workweek), depending on your qualifications and experience. What are you bringing?
- A higher vocational education (HBO) level of work and thinking, with a technical background, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
- MBO in Mechanical Engineering with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
- You speak and write Dutch and English fluently.
- You have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- You’re good at keeping track of things and coordinating projects.
- You work with precision and have a keen eye for detail.
- You have experience with AutoCAD (or are willing to learn it) and with SolidWorks.
- Socially skilled and easy to get along with.
- Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- You are willing to travel about 10% of the year.
What will you do?
- You will oversee and coordinate projects from the sales phase through to delivery to the customer.
- You maintain close contact with both suppliers and customers to ensure that all necessary products are procured on time.
- You will work alongside assembly staff to assemble orders and perform factory acceptance tests.
- After successful testing, you will hand over the system to the customer and oversee its commissioning on site.
- You will complete the administrative aspects of the project once everything has been delivered to our satisfaction.
- You’ll work on improvement projects in between major projects.
- Every day, you’ll be switching between workshop tasks, customer interactions, and meetings with suppliers.
