Dairygold in France uses a spray dryer to produce powders as an end product of milk and cheese. The air coming from spray dryers contains a lot of odor. Certainly some products containing aged cheese can cause a strong odor which has led to complaints from local residents.
Aerox conducted pilot tests at the Dairygold plant on several cheese products. The test results were very positive and gave Dairygold a good reason to purchase an Aerox injector. The first machine was ordered in 2010 and has been in operation since then. This was our first machine used with spray-dried cheese products.
The Aerox injector is suitable for all temperatures and humidity levels. Process air that is 70 to 90 degrees can therefore be treated without changes or additions to the piping. Dairygold is very satisfied with the Aerox-Injector because tests show very high odor reduction.
