Optimal odor removal

For Vandeputte’s seed oil processing plant, we designed a modified version of the Aerox injector to deliver optimal odor removal.

Vandeputte is a seed oil processing plant in Belgium. Because Vandeputte was interested in their emissions, they collected data and found that they emitted a large amount of odor particles. In the processing of seed oil, there are a few processes that cause a greater amount of odor than others. Based on Vandeputte’s data, Aerox recommended focusing on the processes where the greatest odor occurs rather than treating all process air.

Optimal odor removal

Based on tests at Vandeputte’s plant, we determined the right solution to treat all air from pressures and conditioners. Aerox designed the odor removal system in close collaboration with Vandeputte. The Aerox-Injector was placed on the roof and has since removed almost all odor particles.

Combined airflow handling

The process air in this seed oil plant contains condensed oil and water droplets. To counteract these drips, we installed an oil and water separator for the Aerox injector. This ensures that the effectiveness of the Aerox injector can be maximized and guaranteed. It also allows the Aerox injector to handle the combined airflows of pressures and conditioners simultaneously.
